ABOUT US

Ten One Ate Café is situated on the corner of Mt Alexander Road and Brewster St in the beautiful suburb of Essendon, at the formerly historic Brickmaker’s Arms Building.

We serve breakfast and lunch 7 days a week from 7am to 3:30pm. Come in to enjoy arguably the best coffee in town and sample from our delicious, fresh, and seasonal menu. Mix that with a venue full of warm ambience and our friendly staff, and you have a perfect catch-up spot with friends and family!

Ten One Ate also offers a private function area in our beautiful Cellar during the day.

After hours, our venue is also the perfect destination to host your next function and occasion including birthday parties, engagements, board meetings and networking events. Please see our Functions tab for what we have to offer.

DRINKS & CRAZY SHAKES

Our coffee comes from specialty roasters, Zest, who also supply us with a selection of weekly Single Origin blends which we use in our cold drip and black coffees. If you’re after something to quench your thirst, why not try our delicious fresh juices or smoothies. Or if you’re feeling a bit more adventurous our Crazy Shakes are sure to delight the big kid in all of us.
